Driving Lessons

Driving Lessons are only available to pupils who meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 17 or over and
  • hold a valid UK provisional driving license or full driving license (for refresher or motorway lessons)
  • legally entitled to learn to drive in the UK.

Times, location’s and duration of driving lessons are organized between the pupil and the driving instructor.

You must notify your driving instructor of any reason which may affect your ability or entitlement to have driving tuition.

If you wish to cancel a lesson a notice period of 48 hours is required otherwise the driving lesson will still be charged for. This will not apply if Covid-19 is suspected.

Driving lessons can be paid for on the day of the driving lesson. Payment can be either cash or Bank Transfer (Bank Transfers must be in my account before the start of the lesson), unfortunately I cannot accept cheques or card payments. Gift vouchers can be paid on delivery. Block bookings are to be paid on the first lesson of the block booking.

Introductory offers are available to new customers only, past customers cannot take advantage of our offers.

Block Booking Discounts

Block booking discounts must be used within a 6-month period from purchase. A block booking discount is offered for the lessons to be used within this time frame, if the lessons are not taken within this time they are forfeited.

Any block booking refunds will be minus discount for lessons taken.

All our cars are fully insured for learner drivers.

Practical Driving Tests

On the day of your practical driving test you have to pay for a driving lesson before the test and the car fee for the test. Please ask your instructor about current pricing. The driving school reserve the right to refuse the use of the car for the day of your test if they feel you are not ready or there is outstanding money owed from previous lessons (including cancellations).

Rescheduled tests or additional tests

If your test is rescheduled or you take an additional attempt at your driving lesson, your instructor may ask for additional lessons if there is a delay between your previous test and your next test date. This is to keep your driving at a consistent test standard. If the instructor is unhappy that there has been a long delay and your driving standard may be affected, I reserve the right to refuse use of the car for your test, please speak to me if you have any concerns.
